Jana V Ramachandran Awards

The V Ramachandran Awards For Excellence In Urban Decentralisation have been instituted in the memory of Mr V Ramachandran, a doyen of decentralisation, to recognise ground-breaking work in decentralisation in the urban context by State Governments, Municipalities ( all categories of Urban Local Bodies), Civic Agencies, State Election Commissions and State Finance Commissions. 2 trophies were made for this award - Implementer trophy & Enabler trophy. Both the trophies were made of multiple parts that were CNC machined aluminium and SS with and plated in gold and nickel(silver finish) with mirror finish. These parts were assembled on an aluminium base to form the tree like structure of the trophies. Customised certifcates were also made used MDF & etched acrylic. Design by : Foley Designs

Jana Bankable Player Award

​

The Jana Bankable Player 2016 celebrates that dependable player on whom the team can bank upon anytime. He is a consistent performer, and delivers when the team needs him the most. The trophy layout is inspired by the Jana ‘J’ and symbolises a player’s dependable performance on all 3 fronts - Bat, Ball, and the Wickets. The trophy is crafted in aircraft grade aluminium and black anodised surface finish.

Jana Urban G2C Awards

 

Janaagraha is a non-profit organisation based in Bangalore that works with citizens and the government to improve the quality of life in Indian cities and towns. The Janaagraha Urban G2C Awards are a pioneering, citizen-centric benchmark of e-Governance in urban India. The Awards seek to evaluate and rank websites of urban local bodies (i.e. municipal corporations and municipalities) of cities in India from a citizen’s perspective. G2C refers to the crucial interface between Governments and Citizens, which is ever more important in our burgeoning cities. TLV was commissioned to fabricate the “Urban G2C” awards 2012. 3 different trophies were made - 1. Made of CNC milled aluminium block with anodizing and laser engraved branding. The top of the trophy had yellow acrylic details. 2. Made of CNC milled aluminium block with anodizing and laser engraved details. The trophy had etched metal sticker branding with a yellow acrylic ring around it. 3. Made of machined acrylic with etched detail and yellow acrylic ring around around the etched branding.

Jana Voice Awards

The VOICE Awards are presented to the best performing cities based on VOICE Survey that measured citizens' perception of quality of life and quality of city-systems. TLV was commissioned to fabricate the “Voice” awards 2013. 3 designs for the trophies were made - 1. Made of CNC milled aluminium block with black anodising and laser engraved branding. A laser cut SS 4-petal flower with gold plating was fixed on top of block. 2. Made of CNC milled aluminium block with black anodising and laser engraved branding. A laser cut SS 4-petal flower with gold plating was inserted into the aluminium block. 3. Made of CNC machined aluminium and SS. 2 SS sheets were placed at angle with a mirror finish. 2 petals made of laser cut SS with gold plating were placed on one of the SS sheets. The petals reflect onto the other SS sheet to show a complete 4 petal flower to the viewer.
